BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!

hey yall!! i hope that yall are excited to get back to school (yea right)!  I know that i am not excited about starting classes or doing homework and im sure that you are not either!!  But what i am excited about is to see how the Lord is going to use Voltage Student Ministries in each school this year!!  We have at least one student in every Lancaster school including Carolina Christian Academy!!  This friday we are going to each high school and CCA and doing a prayer walk through the school.  The youth are going to have a chance to specifically pray for things at their own school as well as feel the impact of the prayers coming from their fellow youth group members!!  This has been such an amazing summer watching these youth grow in their relationship with the Lord while also growing closer together!  I am so proud of these youth and i think that they are going into this school year better prepared to share the love of Christ with their peers!!  please be praying for our youth as they enter a new school year, because they are going out into a lost and dying world!  specifically pray that they are brave enough to take a stand for Christ so that all of their fellow classmates will know that they are a child of God!  Pray that they will stand out in the crowd because they have chosen to take a much harder and narrow path in their lives!! Pray for the hearts of the students that they will encounter everyday! pray that God would soften their hearts to hear the gospel!!  if our students truly choose to take up their cross and follow Christ despite any objections from the world, it will be a tough but amazing year for them and their schools, pray that each day they will make a decision to let Christ lead them through their day!! I know each of these youth and i can see how God wants to use them to further His Kingdom and i cannot wait until next summer to look back at this school year to see how God showed up!!
